J.P. Morgan Asset Management, one of the world’s largest asset and wealth management firms, asked us to design a digital tool for financial advisors.

The Challenge
Losing out on potential revenue. The J.P. Morgan client advising team could only provide a small percentage of their financial advisor customers with personal 1:1 consultations and expertise. But the firm was missing out on potential revenue by not making personal connections with all of their customers.
Not understanding customers. J.P. Morgan did not have strong data on the behaviors and needs of financial advisors that were not serviced personally by the client advising team.
Competition was creeping up. Other asset management firms were beginning to introduce basic portfolio analyzing tools.
How could they replicate the personalization and consultative nature of an in-person J.P. Morgan Advisor into an immersive and engaging digital experience?

The Outcome
Giving everyone access to the client advising team. The new digital tool’s design acts as an extension of the brand, providing data, insights, and recommendations in the voice of a client advisor.
Providing the right content at the right time. We created a content strategy pairing recommendations from the tool with current and relevant thought leadership and product-related content.
Created a design system for future. The tool is a foundation for J.P. Morgan’s future digital experiences, providing guidelines for how the brand extends digitally.
Met complex compliance and FINRA requirements. We created a tool that was robust and compliant in a sensitive and regulated market.
Gathering business intelligence. The user data from the tool provides J.P. Morgan with a more comprehensive profile of the customer to identify future revenue opportunities.​​​​​​​
As a result of the success of the digital tools our team was asked to create an insights strategy & vision for the Asset Management team to deliver a consultative experience across disparate content, tools, intellectual capital, and processes to drive personalized and engaging experiences to their target audiences.
